Super Vacation Part Four

Utah and a Idaho!

 

After having a fantastic time in Oregon we headed back to Utah for some more family fun!

We went to a big family reunion for Chad's, mom's family.  The Storey reunion  is always a good time. After the reunion we went swimming and had some fun times with some of Chad's cousins and sister Jessica.

We got to spend a few days with Grandma and Grandpa Storey! The girls have so much fun at their house.

The whole time we were at Chad's grandparents house Lily and Ellie were outside as much as they could be. They have this great play house that they just loved! They would come in at night completely filthy but happy as clams to have got to play in the house all day.

Other than loving "Grandma and Grandpa great" they also love their little dog Willy. They spent as much time chasing that dog as they did in the play house. We are super thankful for Grandma and Grandpa for opening their house to us!

Sunday afternoon a bunch of Chad's uncles, Aunts, and cousins family all came up to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a fun dinner and some time to just hang out. I t was so nice to see everyone. When we lived in Idaho we got together at least a few times a year but now we only see them maybe once every two years. :(

We also got to stop and see my Grandma Hulse! She is so sweet and we are sure glad we got a chance to see her! She gave Lily and Ellie a little ride!

 

We took a quick trip to Salt Lake City. The girls love seeing the temple and throwing pennies in the reflecting ponds :)

On our way up to Idaho we had a few more stops! (do you see why we were gone for so long?! Lots of people to see!)

We got to stop and see my Grandma Swany in Logan! It has been WAY too long since I have seen her. It was really nice because my Aunt Linda and cousin Sherry came by too! We got to sit and talk, and catch up for a while!

It worked out that in this trip we got to see ALL of our grand parents!

 

The next stop wasn't to far- Smithfield to see Chad's Uncle Tyler and Aunt Elsie! We did all sorts of fun things there! Lily and Ellie got to drive a tractor:

We saw chickens, ate yummy ice candy, played with bouncy balls, and got to try out the Kiiking swing:

So pretty much a kiiking swing is a swing that goes all the way around. Here is a picture of Chad's cousin Kimball going all the way over!

It takes a lot of muscle! Chad got so he was a little more than parallel the the ground! Pretty good for his first try!

I even tried it out. It was a little scary. I didn't get as high as Chad but next time I want to go over!

 

The last stop on our trip was Idaho Falls! One of my best friends ever, Brooke,  lives there! Lily, Ellie, and Emily had a blast together! They played dress up, and ran around everywhere! They even had a sleepover in the basement where Ellie and Emily may or may not have stayed up until 11:30pm.

We made the short drive to Rexburg to see the school. Good old BYU-Idaho is getting bigger and bigger. We saw the new conference center, took a little walk around campus and got some new BYU-Idaho hat/sweatshirts/shirts.

We figure we should take a picture of these three girls so in 15 years or so they can take another one when they go to school there together! :)

While in Rexburg we went to the splash park!

It is so much fun having our kids play with each other! Emily and Camden are so cute and Lily and Ellie are still talking about their friends!

Here is Brooke and I! We both lived in this apartment but she moved in the semester after I got married! We had some common roommates but didn't meet each other until after we were both married! She is so sweet and I just lover her and her husband Steve. We have a great time when we get together and I miss her all the time!

 

After visiting in Idaho we got in the the car and made the long, long, long drive home. After 3 weeks and over 90 hours (which I only drove like 5 hours) in the car we were happy to be home. Thank you to all of our family and friends who we got to see and stay with on this trip. It is always so great to see people and take a break from our normal everyday!
