Family Easter

We were lucky to get to see Chad's family in the last few weeks! Jessi stopped on her way back to Rexburg, and got to hang out a little with us! We went to the zoo and science center.

Jessica, Ellie and Lily in the jeep in the lion section!

This little prairie dog held very still so we got to see him up close!

Feeding the Koi fish! There are tons of them and they love their food! We thought it was funny to throw fish food right in front and behind the duck in this picture because the fish would lift it out of the water to get the food!

After Jessica left Grandma Meeker came from California to visit for the week! We went to the zoo again- we love that place! Here are the girls on the rope bridge with Grandma.

After a few days the rest of Chad's family drove out from Pennsylvania for the weekend! It was so much fun! We got very lucky and our landlord let us use the empty half of our duplex for people to sleep in or we would have been VERY crowded. There was a lot of playing games on the Wii (including karaoke American Idol which is always hilarious). Some of the boys were looking for a new suit so we went to the mall. The girls hung out at the play place with the kids while the boys looked around.

Funny Story about Ellie: While playing she started to climb up the seats around the outside, so I went and told her she had to get down. She go upset and ran off to play but every time she passed me I was greeted with a look like this:

Death glares. After a little I called her over to ask her something and she responded with "I'm not talking to you." WHAT!?! Where did she learn that? We were laughing so hard. Then my Chad's mom and sister Maddi tried to get her attention and this time she responded " I'm not talking to you... or you... or you" as she pointed to each of us. Sheesh. Man- I'm going to have my hands full when she is a teenager!

Lily found this owl in the tree and was so excited about it! She just kept yelling as loud as she could " Look and Owl!!!" Maddi helped her get a better look!

The girls just love their cousin Kacen! They get so excited every time they see his picture. Such cute kids.

Easter was wonderful! The weather finally was a little better and we had so much fun! Here are the Easter pictures!

Kacen!

The other Congers! Kyle Heather and Kacen!

Cousins!

Our little family!

Grandma with her grandsons and great-grand kids! (This was her first time meeting them!)

I love this picture!

This one too....

Sorry Kyle. :)

The boys set up an Easter egg hunt for the kids with something like 78 plastic eggs. They loved it. Lily and Ellie found a ton but Kacen was done once he had one for each hand.

We played in the back yard and had a lot of fun! Ian did a little fence jumping- surprisingly this isn't what ended up getting him hurt. He messed up his ankle pretty bad at the skate park- luckily it wasn't broken!

The pink Barbie kite came out!

After the little kids played it was time for the big kids to play. We made up a bunch of games with the plastic eggs and Easter buckets. Then proceeded to have an egg toss... but we didn't hard boil any eggs so we used raw ones. Then we tried it again with some extra boiled potatoes too. Lets just say the potatoes made a much bigger mess. Poor Heather.

Then as it always does things got a little rough with the boys and Ian ended up with this beauty:

After more games and a ton of yummy food, the family packed up and started their long drive home.

Grandma had one more day with us and we went shopping and just played around the house with the girls. It was an Easter to remember! Thanks for coming family- it was great! We love you all!
